george is a man of great humour.in fact,he is the funniest character in the novel.he loved laughing at others while harris is a bungling character.he keeps getting into scrapes .he is not pleased by anyone else's work. he offers to do a task but ultimately involves anyone in that.
george had some knowledge of the way of the world but he was not very quick witted ,while harris did not have.harris was a happy lucky man.
george was less aggressive than harris . he is sensible too.
