Because by increasing the no. of pulleys, strings of that pulleys increases, and when the strings increases tension force on the string also increases and when tension force on the string increases mechanical advantage also increases
Hence, overall mechanical advantage increases, when we increase no. of pulleys.

Answer:
Due to an increase in the load, mechanical advantage increases with the number of pulleys in the case of block and tackle arrangement.
Explanation:
As there is an increase in the number of pulleys in the arrangement of block and tackle the number of stands of string supporting the load increases, as the load increases its mechanical advantage increases, and also the mechanical advantage is equal to the total number of pulleys in both the blocks.
Hence, it can be concluded that mechanical advantage increases with the number of pulleys in the case of block and tackle arrangement because of the increase in the load.
