A shady Plot by Elsie Brown is a story about the writer who writes stories about ghost and is assisted by a ghost, Helen. Helen, who was a ghost, was the member of "Writer's Inspiration Bureau" she helped who were unable to gather idea to write ghost stories. Helen, the ghost gave up writing because she was facing problems while she was striving to become a popular writer and that she was unable to find a publisher to get her novels published.
