Given:

Voltage of the resistor = 9V

To Find:

The current through the resistor

Solution:

Net resistance of the circuit is = 9Ω.

Let total current be = I

Req = 2 + 2 + 4

= 8Ω

1/ Req = 1/8 + 1/8

= 8/2

= 4Ω

Req=3+4+2=9Ω

I = V/req

= q/q = 1

Current flowing through the 4Ω resistors

=  I/4

= 1/4

= 0.25Ω

Answer: The value of 4Ω resistor is 0.25A
