To Find:

We have to find the value of E .

Solution:

In the given circuit, the value of total Resistance is  8+8+8=24 ohm

The voltage impressed on the circuit is 12V .

The formula of ohm's law is i=\frac{E}{R} .

In this law, i is current, E is the voltage and R is the resistance.

Put the value to get the value of i .

i=\frac{E}{R}=\frac{12}{24} =\frac{1}{2} A

We have to find the value of E is \frac{1}{2}  \times 8=4A .

The value of E is 4A .
