In the diagram below AB is a magnet and CD is an iron bar. Study the diagram and determine at the ends A, B and D.​

the intersection between

AB and CD ends is large

therefore ABD are attached to each other.

Given

From the figure,

                 It consists of two objects. They are a magnet and an iron  bar.

                          Where, AB is a magnet.

                                       CD is an iron bar.

In magnet AB :

                       A is placed in the North direction

                       B is placed in the South direction    

In an iron rod :

                       C is placed in the North direction

                       D is placed in the South direction

When an iron rod CD is placed near by a magnet AB, iron rod CD gets attracted to magnet AB. So, iron rod is attached to the magnet. Now, C faces its direction to the South and d to the North. Magnet AB's direction remains the same.
