for this we use such a material which have high resistance becouse due to this large no. of collision between electron will take place so most of electric energy spend for collision which produce in form of heat

Because of following reasons :-

1. Alloy has higher resistivity than pure metal.

2. It has high melting point and does not burn readily or oxidise
