HELLO THERE!
Let the particle is thrown with an initial velocity u.
Horizontal component of velocity = u cos θ
Vertical component of velocity = u sin θ
As the particle rises up and falls down, its height changes.
There is gravity acting on the particle downwards, due to which the vertical component of the velocity changes.
However, since the motion is un-accelerated horizontally, the horizontal component of the velocity remains the same.
So, your answer is:
The horizontal component of the velocity with which the particle is thrown initially does not change at all during the whole motion of the particle.
THANKS!
