The child askedfor a number of thingsin the fair. He wanted toys and balloons, sweets from the sweet meat seller and garland of gulmohur. He even enjoyedthe snake Charmers playing flute to a snake. He urged for a ride in the roundabout swing.

The boy moved on without walking for an answer because he knew that his request would be denied at each steps.
