in the fig AB and BC are 2 plane mirrors aranged in 120degrees a ray incident at angle 55degrees on AB find the value of x

The angle the first reflected ray makes with the horizontal = 90° - 55° = 35°

The angle at the top of the triangle: 180 ° - 120° - 35° = 25°

At the second reflection:
     so angle of incidence = angle of refraction = x = 90° - 25° = 65°
