 Given \: AB \:and \:CD \:are \:two \: straight \\lines \: intersecting \:at\:O

 \angle {AOC} = \angle {BOD} = x

 \blue {( Vertically \: opposite \: angles )}

 \Angle {AOC} + \angle {AOD} = 180\degree

 \blue {( Linear \:pair )}

\implies \angle {AOD} =  180\degree - \angle {AOC}

Or

\implies \angle {AOD} =  180\degree - \angle {BOD}
