LavannyaZambare: but can u plss calculate again
LavannyaZambare: I got the answer 57
LavannyaZambare: it came by your second method
LavannyaZambare: that something was wrong in the shaded region step I corrected it
LavannyaZambare: =pie x (r)² - (10)² =3.14 x (5 root 2)²-(10)²=157 - 100 =57cm²

we can clearly see that
area of shaded part= area of circle -area of square

now area of square= 10×10 cm^2 = 100cm^2

now radius of circle=
 \frac{digonal \: ofsquare}{2}  =  \frac{ \sqrt{ {10 }^{2} + 10 {}^{2}  } }{2}  = 5 \sqrt{2}
so area of circle = 50π cm^2
so area of shaded part = 50π - 100 cm^2
57.143cm^2
