Given :- In the figure AB = 8cm CD = 6cm . Find the area of the triangle ?..

Answer :-

from image we can see that,

  • AB = Base of the ∆CAB = 8 cm .
  • CD = Perpendicular height on AB = 6 cm .

we know that,

  • Area of ∆ = (1/2) * Base * Perpendicular height .

so,

→ ∆CAB area = (1/2) * AB * CD

→ ∆CAB area = (1/2) * 8 * 6

→ ∆CAB area = 4 * 6

→ ∆CAB area = 24 cm² (Ans.)
