Solution :

Check the attachment for the required figure.

ABC is a right angled triangle.

Angle B = 90°

Angle A = 30°

( Angle C = 60°)

We have to find the length of AC

sin A = sin 30° = BC/AC

sin 30 = ½

> BC/AC = ½.

> AC = 2BC = 2 × 6 = 12 cm .

Answer : The length of AC is 12 cm .

Given :-

In the figure ABC is a right angle in which angleB=90°, BC=6cm and angleA= 30°

To Find :-

Length of AC

Solution :-

Sum of all angle in a triangle = 180

A + B + C = 180

30 + 90 + C = 180

120 + C = 180

C = 180 - 120

C = 60

Now,

Length of AC =

sin A = BC/AC

sin (30) = BC/AC

As sin 30 = 1/2

1/2 = BC/AC

2BC = 1(AC)

2BC = AC

2(6) = AC

12 = AC
