in the figure ABC is a triangle in which BC is 10 cm and ac is 13 cm if ad is the perpendicular bisector of BC then find the length of a d explain me​

Answer:

BC is 10

and AD is perpendicular bisector

this means DC is equal to 5 cm

by doing it BC divided by 2

now AC is 13 cm

applying Pythagoras theorem

hypotenuse² is equal to base² + altitude²

so AC²=DC²+AD²

So 13²=5²+AD²

169=25+AD²

169-25=144=AD²

AD=√144

AD=12
