seperation between charges, r = 80cm

let x distance from the 10μC charge , electric field becomes zero.

so, K(10μC)/x² = K(20μC)/(r - x)²

⇒10/x² = 20/(80 - x)²

⇒1/x² = 2/(80 - x)²

⇒1/x = √2/(80 - x)

⇒80 - x = √2x

⇒x = 80/(√2 + 1) = 80/2.414 = 33.14cm ≈ 33cm
