Solution:

From given, we have,

É is the midpoint of AB and F is the midpoint of AD.

So, we have 2 equal triangles with the same area.

Therefore, the area of quadrilateral = 2 × Area of triangle

= 2 × 13

= 26

Area of the quadrilateral ABCD is 26 square units.
