Thanks a lot but in the second picture isn't it supposed to be AB^2 + BD^2 = AD^2 ?

In right angled Triangle ABC,
CB =9cm
AC=6cm
then
using pytogoras theorem
H²=p²+b²
9²=6²+b²
b²=9²-6²
b²=81-36
b²=45
b=3√5
then,
in Triangle ABD
AB=3√5
BD=7
then,
using pytogoras theorem
h²;=p²+b²
h²=7²+(3√5)²
h²=49+(9*5)
h²=49+45
h²=94
h=√94
h=9.69
Then,
Ad=9.69 cm
