let it be a

a+a+74= 180 (angle sum)

2a= 180-74

a= 106/2

a= 53

angle CEA = 53

angle AEB = 180-angle CEA (linear pair)

x=180-53

x= 127

in ∆ ABE

15+127+ABE= 180 (angle sum)

angle ABE= 180-142

= 38

BCD = ABE ( alternate angles)

y=38
