In the figure given above , D is any point on the side BC of triangleABC . If AB>AC , show that AB>AD.​

Answer:

As D is any point on the side BC , take AD as the line which meets line BC at right angle

Now, From the ∆le ABD angle D is 90°

So, From this AB becomes the hypotenuse

Therefore AB will be absolutely greater than AD and BD induvidually.
