in the figure if triangle ABC is parallel to triangle pqr find the value of x

As Given in question

ΔABC~ΔPQR

So the ratio of the related sides will be same.

Means

AB/PQ  = BC/QR = CA/RP

AB/PQ = BC/x

6/4.5 = 4/x

or

x = 4.5×4/6

x = 18/6=3cm
