solution = velocity have same component. velocity of contact point on rod CD  and ring should have same component of velocity along normal to rod CD

BC(ω) = 2(BCcosθ)ω cosθ

ω " = 2ωcos²θ

ω"= 3/2rad/s

so the angularr velocity of rod AB  about hinge A  is  3/2rad/s
