In the figure, the parallel line l and m cut by a transversal n. If angle 1 and angle 2 are (5x-10) and (3x+60) respectively, then find the measures of angle 1 and 2.

given l, m are parallel, and n is transversal
<1= <2 [ alternate angles are equal]
5x-10 =3x+60
5x-3x=60+10
2x=70
x= 70/2
x=35
∴<1 = 5x-10 = 5*35 -10= 175-10 = 165

<2 =3x+60= 3*35+60=105+60 =165
