In the first order reaction, doubling the initial concentration of the reactants, quadruples the rate. True or False?

I think it is false.Because rate is directly proportional to initial concentration in first order reaction.hence if rate doubles concentration also doubles but doesn't quadruples.

Hope this is correct! If not I am so sorry. :(
