Given, P, Q, and R are midpoints of AB, BC and CA respectively.

Thus, by mid point theorem:

BC = 2 PRBC=2PR

BC = 2 (5)BC=2(5)

BC = 10BC=10 cm

Similarly,

QR = 1/2AB

QR = 1/2 × 8.4

QR = 4.2 cm

and AC = 2 PQ

AC = 2 (4.8)AC

AC = 9.6 cm
