from figure we can see that, A - O - B is a straight line .

we know that, A straight angle is Equal to 180° .

So,

→ ∠AOB = 180° .(Ans.)

Now,

we know that,

• when two adjacent angles create a line they are called as linear pair of angles.
• Sum of linear pair of angles is 180° .

As , we can see , in figure , ∠AOC and ∠BOC are two adjacent angles on the line A - O - B.

Therefore ,

→ ∠AOC + ∠BOC = 180° .(Linear pair.)

→ ∠BOC = (180° - ∠AOC) (Ans.) .
