\bold{To~find:}

The angles 2x and \bold{{\frac{1}{2}}}x

\bold{Here:}

\bold{50°+2x+{\frac{1}{2}}x=180°} (Straight line)

\implies\bold{50°+{\frac{4+1}{2}}x=180°}

\implies\bold{50°+{\frac{5}{2}}x=180°}

\implies\bold{{\frac{5}{2}}x=180°-50°}

\implies\bold{{\frac{5}{2}}x=130°}

\implies\bold{5x=2×130°}

\implies\bold{5x=260°}

\implies\bold{x={\frac{260}{5}}}

\implies\bold{x={\underline{\underline{52}}}}

\therefore\bold{Required~angles:}

2x = 2 × 52 = 104°

\bold{{\frac{1}{2}}}x= \bold{{\frac{1}{2}}×52} = 26°
