Answer:

The ratio of the areas of the two sectors S1 & S2 is 4 : 5 .

Among the given options option (d) 4 : 5 is the correct answer.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given :

Let Radius of a circle = r

θ1 = 120°

θ1 = 150°

Area of the sector ,S1 = θ1/360 × πr²

Area of the sector ,S2 = θ2/360 × πr²

Ratio of the areas of the two sectors S1 & S2 :

S1/ S2 = θ1/360 × πr²/ θ1/360 × πr²

S1/ S2 =  θ1/θ2

S1/ S2 = 120°/150°

S1/ S2 = 12/15

S1/ S2 = ⅘

S1 : S2 = 4 : 5

Ratio of the areas of the two sectors = 4 : 5

Hence, the ratio of the areas of the two sectors S1 & S2 is 4 : 5 .
