To find:

Value of x and y

Solution:

As we look at the factorial tree of the chart we notice that three and seven are the factors of x.

Therefore the value of x is the product of seven and three

x = 3×7

x=21

In a similar way we find that x and four are the factors of y so putting the value of x as 21 we find the value of y

y = x × 4

y = 21 ×4

y = 84

Therefore, the value of x is equal to 21 and the value of y is equal to 84.
