Solution.) As you know the given triangle is an isosceles triangle that the two sides are equal . So, 37 degree = 37 degree .

To find x , we will use the exterior angle property .

Exterior angle property states that-

Exterior angle = the sum of opposite interior angles.

X = 37 + 37
X = 74 degrees .

Hope it helps you....

As we know that base angle of isosceles triangle are equal.

So, let the unknown angle be y.

Then,

 =  > 37  {}^{o}  + 37  {}^{o} + y = 180  {}^{o}

 =  >  y = 180  {}^{o} - (37  + 37 )  {}^{o}

 =  > y = (180  {}^{o} - 74  {}^{o}) = 106  {}^{o}

Since, angle y and angle x makes a linear pair.

Then,

 =  > x + y = 180  {}^{o}

 =  > x + 106  {}^{o} = 180  {}^{o}

 =  > x = (180 - 106)  {}^{o} = 74  {}^{o}

Hence, the value of x and y are 74 {}^{o} and 106°, respectively.
