Answer: For figure one

As it is given that AD=BD in ∆ABD

so as we know that when opposite sides are equal then the opposite angles to the sides are also equal

Angle ABD = Angle DAB = 48°

when in triangle ABD a line BD is extended to c then angle ADC is exterior angle of triangle ABD

So angle ADC = angle ABD + angle DAB

Angle ADC = 48° + 48°

96°

show in triangle ADC side ad is equal to DC so angle BAC is equal to angle DCA is equal to X

Show in triangle ADC

Angle ADC + angle d + angle DCA is equal to 180 degree

96 + x + x = 180

2x = 180-96

X = 84/2

X = 42°
