Question:

In the following question, a sentence has been given in Active/Passive voice.

Out of the four alternatives suggested, select the one which best expresses the same sentence in Passive/Active voice.

The Sentence:

The organisers will give you a certificate.

The action (giving of certificate) will be given and is not done yet.

So, this indicates the future continuous tense.

As the action will is in progress at some time in the future.

Answer:

Option (A) A certificate will be given to you by the organisers is the correct one.

Explanation:

B) The organisers had given you a certificate.

had given you indicates past perfect tense but he/she will be given a certificate.

And hence, it's wrong.

C) You were given a certificate by the organisers.

You were given also indicates the past and hence it's wrong.

D) Giving of certificate to you was done by organisers.

Was done refers the past tense and hence, it's wrong.

And therefore, option (A) A certificate will be given to you by the organisers is the correct one.
