In the given circuit diagram, suppose the resistors Ri, R: and Rs have the values 5 , 10 , 30 ,
respectively, which have been connected to a battery of 12 V. Calculate (a) the current through each
resistor. (b) the total current in the circuit, and (c) the total circuit resistance.

Answer:

ans c.) ------->all resistor are in parallel form then 1/Req=1/r1+1/r2+1/r3 ,,,,1/Req=1/5+1/10+1/30 , after solving this Req is 3.03 means approx 3 ohm . b.) -----> total current in the circuit is V=I×Req ,,,12=I×3 then total current is 4 amp .a.) in parallel form of resistor V is same for all resistance so using ohm 's law V=ir for first resistance V=i1×r1 ,,, 12=i1×5 then i1= 2.4amp then for second resistance 12=i2×10 then i2 is 1.2 amp and for third resistance 12=i3×30 , i3 is 0.4 amp [if you add this all current it is equal to total current means ans is right 1.2+2.4+04=4 ]
