In the given diagram below a cube of side 15cm immersed in a tub containing water of

density 1000kg/m3 such that the top surface is 20cm below the free surface of water.

Calculate:

i) Pressure on the top of the cube

ii) Pressure at the bottom of the cube

iii) Resultant pressure on the cube

iv) Resultant thrust on the cube g=9.8m/s2

c) Derive the formula for pressure acting at a point inside the liquid due to liquid at rest.​
