This has a missing information which is if BO = OD = 60cm.
Given:
∠BOD = 90°, whole circle is 360°
360° - 90° = 270°
270° ÷ 360° = 3/4
Top of the table is 3/4 of a circle with a radius of 60 cm.
Area of circle = π r²
Area of top of the table = 3/4 * 3.14 * (60cm)²
A = 3/4 * 3.14 * 3,600 cm²
A = 8,478 cm²
Circumference of a circle = π d
d = diameter which is twice the radius.
d = 60cm * 2 = 120 cm
Perimeter of the table = (3/4 * 3.14 * 120cm) + (2 x 60cm)
P = 282.60 cm + 120 cm
P = 402.60 cm
Given:
∠BOD = 90°, whole circle is 360°
360° - 90° = 270°
270° ÷ 360° = 3/4
Top of the table is 3/4 of a circle with a radius of 60 cm.
Area of circle = π r²
Area of top of the table = 3/4 * 3.14 * (60cm)²
A = 3/4 * 3.14 * 3,600 cm²
A = 8,478 cm²
Circumference of a circle = π d
d = diameter which is twice the radius.
d = 60cm * 2 = 120 cm
Perimeter of the table = (3/4 * 3.14 * 120cm) + (2 x 60cm)
P = 282.60 cm + 120 cm
P = 402.60 cm
