in the given figure a rectangular plot of land measures 8 m by 6 m in each of the corners there is a flower bed in the form of a quardant of a circle of radius 2 m also there is a flower bed in the form of circle of radius 2 m in the middle of the plot find the area of the remaining plot

35.47m^2 as we need to calculate area of 4 quadrants then area of circle and then add both Areas and then we need to find are of rectangle , and then subtract the area of both quadrant and circlw after adding from area of rectangle u will get the answer.ohkkk

Solution :-

Area of the Rectangular plot = L*B

⇒ 8*6

= 48 m²

Area of 4 quadrants of a circle = 4*1/4*πr²  

⇒ 4*1/4*22/7*2*2

⇒ 88/7

⇒ 12.57 m²

Area of circular flower bed in the middle of the rectangular plot = πr²

⇒ 22/7*2*2

⇒ 88/7

= 12.57 m²

Area of the remaining plot = 48 - (12.57 + 12.57)

48 - 25.14

22.86 m²
