Answer:

Height DL = 3 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

Given : The sides of triangle are AB = 7.5 cm , AC = 6.5 cm, BC = 7 cm

A parallelogram DBCE is constructed on base BC.

Area of parallelogram = Area of triangle ABC  ----- ( i )

Since all the sides of triangle are of different sizes

Therefore Area of triangle ABC = √(s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c))

where  s is semi perimeter given by s= (a+b+c)/2

and a, b and c are the sides of triangles

s= (a+b+c)/2  = (7.5 +6.5+7)/2

s= 21/2=10.5 cm

Area of triangle ABC = √(10.5(10.5-7.5)(10.5-6.5)(10.5-7))

                                  = √(10.5*3*4*3.5)

                                = √441

  = 21

Area of triangle ABC = 21 cm^2

Area of parallelogram is given by = base * height

21 = 7 * DL

DL = 21/7

DL = 3 cm

Therefore height DL of Parallelogram = 3 cm
