The sum is 180degrees as per the corresponding angles of the transversal angle1 and angle3 are same and angle 2 and angle4 are same. And also EF is 180degrees as it is a straight line. So angle1 + angle 4 = 180 degrees

Answer:

\angle1+\angle4=180^{\circ}

Step-by-step explanation:

Given :  AB||CD

To Find: ∠1+∠4

Solution:

Since AB||CD

So, \angle1=\angle3 (corresponding angles are equal)

Now ,

\angle3+\angle4=180^{\circ} (sum of linear pairs is 180°)   --a

Now since we have proved above ∠1=∠3

Substitute ∠1 in place of ∠3 in equation a

So,\angle1+\angle4=180^{\circ}

Hence the value of \angle1+\angle4=180^{\circ}
