Step-by-step explanation:

you can do it by congruence method

join A and D

AB=AC(so the triangle is a isosceles triangle)

* angle B = angle c (isosceles angle property that opposite angles of equal sides are equal)

Ad=Ad (common)

so it congruent by SAS

so Bd = CD by CPCTC

To Prove:- BD = CD

Proof:-

here, AB = AC .......1{Given}

now, In the given Diagram F, E and D are the 3 tangent to the a circle.

  • By Tangent Segment theorem

Tangent Segment theorem says that:- Tangent segments drawn from an external point to a circle are congruent.

•°• AF = AE, .......2

FB = BD, ........3

EC = CD .........4

  • From 1,2,3,4

FB must be equal to EC ..... {as AB = AC and AF = AE}

•°• FB = EC .....5

  • From 3,4 and 5

FB = BD = EC = CD

•°• BD = CD

HENCE , PROVED THAT BD = CD .
