ABIICF,consider those two lines and keep BC as the transversal
which gives angle BCF to be 40° (alternate interior angles are equal)
65°+40°+y=180(angles in a straight line)
105°+y=180°
y=75°
x and y are corresponding angles of the transversal CF in lines CD and EF
