area of triangle = 1/2 x b x h

=1/2 x 3 x 4

=6 cm2

to find bc,

bc2 = ab 2 + ac2

= 3 2 + 4 2

=9+16

= 25

= 5 cm

area of circle = pie r 2

= 22/7 x 25/4

multiply it

and

to find area of shaded region =area of circle- area of triangle

and

find area of shaded region.

Area of circle = πr²

22/7 × (2.5)²

area of triangle = ½ ×base ×height

Area of shaded region =

area of circle area of triangle

19.625-6

=13.625cm²
