In the given figure ∆ABC side AC has been produced to D. Angle BCD=125° and angle A:B=2:3, find the measure of angle A and angle B.

then Angle B = 3X  as A:B = 2:3

AC has been produced to D

=> ∠ BCD  = ∠A + ∠B

=> 125° = 2x + 3x

=> 5x = 125°

=> x = 25°

∠A = 2x = 50°

∠B = 3x = 75°

A/B=2/3; BCD=125(i.e C=125)

B=3A/2

A+B+C=360

A+3A/2+C=360

5A/2=235

5A=470

A=94degrees

B=3A/2

B=(3*94)/2

B=3*47

B=141degrees
