  • The value of x

Solution,

Given that,

  • ∠A = ( 3x - 50 )°
  • ∠C = ( x + 40 )°

As we know that,

The opposite angles of a parallelogram are equal,

Therefore,

∠A = ∠C

➞ ( 3x - 50 )° = ( x + 40 )°

➞ 3x - 50 = x + 40

➞ 3x - x = 40 + 50

➞ 2x = 90

➞ x = 90 / 2

➞ x = 45

The value of x is 45.

Required Answer :

The value of x is 45. [ Option d. 45 ] is the correct option.
