The area of shaded region by heron's formula is 24
•Using Pythagoras theorem to find AC ,
AC² =AB²+ BC²
AC²= 8²+6²
AC²= 64+36
AC²= 100
AC = 10.
• semi perimeter
= (a+b+c)/2.
=(8+6+10)/2
=24/2
=12.
• using heron's formula to find area
√s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c).
We get,
√12(4)(6)(2)
=√12×12×2×2
=12×2
=24.
