∠ADB=∠ADC ∣ since AD⊥BC

AD=AD ∣ Common

∴ by SAS criterion of congruence, we have.

⇒AB=AC ∣ Since corresponding parts of congruent triangles are equal

Hence, △ ABC is isosceles.
