In the given figure, angle 1 are supplementary angles. If angle 1 is decreased, what changes should take place in angle 2 so that both the angles still remain supplementary.

Angle 2 will increase.

angle 1+ angle2 = 180°

so, it's obvious that when 1 is decrease 2 will definitely increase so that their sum may be still 180° , i.e., supplementary
