Given  : angle pqr = angle prs  pr =8 cm , ps = 4cm  

To Find :  pq

Solution:

in  Δ PQR & ΔPRS

∠PQR = ∠PRS

∠P = ∠P   common

=> Δ PQR ≈  ΔPRS   Using AA criteria

=> PQ/PR  = QR/RS  = PR/PS

PQ/PR =  PR/PS

=> PQ . PS = PR²

PQ = ?

PS = 4 cm

PR = 8 cm

=> PQ * 4  =  8²

=> PQ =  16  cm
