CD ║ AB if arc AC and BD are two equal arcs of a circle

Step-by-step explanation:

Equal Chord subtend equal angles

As AC & BD are equal arc

hence AC & BD are equal Chord

Angle subtended by Chord AC

∠ADC = ∠ABC

Angle subtended by Chord BD

∠BAD = ∠BCD

as Chord  AC = Chord BD

=> ∠ADC = ∠ABC = ∠BAD = ∠BCD

=>∠ADC = ∠BAD

These are alternate angles

Hence CD ║ AB
