perimeter of figure = peri. of square + peri. of triangles.

step 1.

we solve perimeter of square.

side = 6 cm.

perimeter of square = 4 × side.

4 × 6 cm = 24 cm.

step 2.

we solve perimeter of equilateral triangle.

side = 6 cm.

perimeter of equilateral triangle = 3 × side.

3 × 6 cm = 18 cm.

step 3.

now we add this 2 perimeters.

so, 24 cm + 18 cm = 24 cm.
