Given : radius of circle = 3.5 cm

Side of square = 10 cm

Answer: 61.5 cm²

To find : Area of shaded region

Step by step explanation: to find the area of it, we need to subtract the area of circle from the area of square.

Area of circle= \large πr^{2}

= \large \frac{22}{7} × 3.5 × 3.5

= 38.5 cm \large ^{2}

Area of Square = Side \large ^{2}

side = 10

so, 10 \large ^{2}

= 100 cm

Are of shaded region= 100-38.5

=61.5 cm \large ^{2}

Area of shaded portion = Area of square - Area of circle

Length of side of square = 10cm

Area of square = (side)²

= (10cm)²

= 100cm²

Radius of Circle = 3.5cm

Area of Circle = πr²

= 22/7 × (35/10)²

= 22/7 × 1225/100

= 22 × 175/100

= 22 × 1.75

= 38.5cm²

Area of shaded portion = Area of square - Area of circle

Area of shaded portion = 100cm² - 38.5cm²

= 61.5cm²

Hope it helps you, hv a nyc day
